We are looking for highly motivated experienced meteorological engineers to join our dynamic team. As an Aviation Meteorology Product Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing innovative solutions that empower industries, particularly in aviation, to make informed decisions.

Your responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize aviation-focused meteorological products and solutions.
- Contribute to the full product development lifecycle, from concept ideation to implementation, testing and refinement.
- Convert technical aviation meteorological concepts into user-friendly product features and functionalities.
- Perform thorough testing, performance analysis, and debugging to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our aviation-related products.
- Communicate meteorological data and product information clearly and effectively to clients and internal teams.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in meteorology, data science, and engineering to drive continuous product innovation.
- Supporting ongoing research projects to improve forecast accuracy, data collection, and weather forecasting methodologies
- Preparing detailed reports, graphics, and visualizations for both internal and external use.
Your Profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in aviation meteorology
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, or a related field
- Strong understanding of meteorological principles, particularly as they apply to aviation.
- Knowledge on the principles of numerical weather prediction, especially with operational use
- Familiarity with aviation, energy, synoptical meteorology is a huge plus
- Experience with Python or R programming
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools is a plus
- Written and oral proficiency in English at a professional level
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to interpret and analyze meteorological data
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex weather information to diverse audiences
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
- Enthusiasm for meteorology and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field
